The Natural Park is on the doorstep, with Mount Maroma at 2069m being the highest peak of the Sierra de Tejeda Mountain range, this area offers plenty of hiking possibilities including the famous ” El Saltillo ” trail between Sedella and the village of Canillas de Aceituno where you will cross one of the longest suspension bridges in Spain. The pretty white village of Sedella is within walking distance from the house via a footpath or less than a five-minute drive, here you will find all the amenities needed including a grocery store, a weekly market, a restaurant and two bars, there is also an open-air bar for the summer months as well as a municipal swimming pool, padel court, football pitch & a fully fitted gym. There is a visitor centre which has an exhibition of the local flora & fauna, they also offer excursions in and around the natural park. Sedella has its own Boutique winery, Sedella Vinos, producing organic mountain wine; they offer tastings at certain times of the year.
The property is accessed from the main mountain road via a part concreted track. There is a graveled parking area to the side of the house with space for several vehicles. From this area you have access to the strip of land which can be used for a vegetable garden.
A wrought iron arched gate takes you to the front of the property where the pool (8 x 4m) is located. The terrace area is approx. 130m2 where you can sit and marvel at stunning views of the mountains and the sea with Sedella and its church also in view. There is a pathway wrapping around the back of the property where there is a handy storage shed (3.1m2) and another wrought iron arched gate leading out to the parking area.
